Nat & Natalie Cole "Unforgettable"

I think this video is both clever and cute. To my mind there isn't another singer that can deliver a song with such sincerity and velvetness as Nat could. I have just about all of his published recordings. What a voice. Linking Natalie with her Dad was a stroke of genius (though inevitable with todays technology)and the song says it all. I wish I could have met the man. I hope he's crooning them all upstairs...

Natalie Cole - This will be 1975 This will be an everlasting love This will be the one I've waited for This will be the first time anyone has loved me I'm so glad you found me in time And I'm so glad that you rectified my mind This will be an everlasting love for me Loving you is some kind of wonderful Because you've shown me just how much you care You've given me the thrill of a lifetime And made me believe you've got more thrills to spare This will be an everlasting love Oh yes it will now You've brought a lot of sunshine into my life You filled me with happiness I never knew You gave me more joy than I ever dreamed of And no one, no one can take the place of you This will be You and me Yessirree Eternally Hugging and squeezing and kissing and pleasing Together forever through rain and whatever Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah You and me So long as I'm living true love I'll be giving To you I'll be saving 'cause you're so deserving Hey You're so deserving You're so deserving Yeah Yeah Yeah Oh ... Love Love Love Love ... From now on, From now on, From now on, From now on ...

Natalie Cole & Nat King Cole - The Grammy Awards (26 Feb 1992) - Unforgettable

Natalie Cole & Nat King Cole - The Grammy Awards (1992) - Unforgettable This 1991 song along with the album "Unforgettable... With Love,' produced by David Foster, was the big winner at the 1992 Grammy Awards. It won "Song of the Year," "Record of the Year," "Album of the Year," "Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album,' and several other Grammy Awards..It has now been certified by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) as 8 times Platinum, having sold over 8 million copies. At the time no one had ever done a "virtual" duet like this. It lead the way for a number of virtual duets including the famous Elvis/Celine Dion duet on American Idol. Unforgettable was originally recorded by her father, Nat King Cole, in 1951. Natalie Maria Cole (born February 6, 1950), better known as Natalie Cole is an American singer, songwriter and performer. The daughter of jazz legend Nat King Cole, Cole rode to musical success in the mid-1970s as an R&B artist with the hits "This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)", "Inseparable" and "Our Love". After a period of failing sales and performances due to a heavy drug addiction, Cole reemerged as a pop artist with the 1987 album, Everlasting, and her cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Pink Cadillac". In the 1990s, she re-recorded standards by her father, resulting in her biggest success, Unforgettable... with Love, which sold over seven million copies and also won Cole numerous Grammy Awards.David Walter Foster, OC, OBC (born November 1, 1949), is a ...
